Resetting Email Passwords
How to reset your password in Outlook Hide this section 1. Open up Microsoft Outlook.
2. On the top menu, select 'Tools' and 'Email Accounts'.
3. In the window that appears, select 'View or change existing email accounts' and click Next.
4. Select the mailbox you wish to change and click the 'Change' button.
5. Under 'Logon Information' change the password as appropriate.
You can test your account settings by clicking the 'Test Account Settings' button.
6. Click 'Next' to go back to the accounts list and then click 'Finish' to finish.

How to reset your password in Mail (Mac OS X) Hide this section 1. Open Mail.
2. Click the 'Mail' option from the options across the top, and select 'Preferences...' (or press Apple-,)
3. Select the 'Accounts' tab from the tabs at the top of the page, and select the appropriate mailbox from the list on the left.
4. In the 'Password' box in the Incoming Mail section, enter your new password.

How to reset your password in Thunderbird Mail Hide this section Thunderbird does not store your password in account settings like most mail passwords: instead, it will ask you for a new password when getting mail if authentication fails.
1. Open up Thunderbird.
2. Click on the 'Get Mail' button.
3. When the dialogue box appears asking for your password, enter your new password and click 'OK'.
