Experience with CSS, XHTML and MySQL will be necessary. A basic working knowledge of Photoshop, video (encoding and editing with Final Cut Pro) and Flash may also be advantageous, although not necessarily essential.

Full details can be found here: www.digitl.co.uk/jobs.

Once the client was happy with the design our development team encoded the elements of the still image mock up to display correctly in website format.

We have introduced a more systematic checking system to ensure our websites meet our quality standards as there are numerous cross-browser and behaviour issues that must be addressed before launch.

The client supplied the content and we spent some time formatting this before tagging and submitting the site to search engines and relevant directory sites. This normally helps our new websites get indexed by the major search engines sooner, which benefits our clients.

A pleasing feature of the homepage is the flash image header which cycles through some of the high quality images we captured during content acquisition.

I found myself salivating every time I was confronted with images of Gypsy Creams, Millionaire Shortbread, and their award winning Perkins biscuits.

The site is another development of the Digitl in-house listings mod which is becoming more central to much of our website work. The mod is becoming more robust and flexible with each outing so should be a stalwart over 2008.

Anyway, back to biscuits and tray bakes.
